Legal marijuana analogs
Legal marijuana analogs can be divided into two categories. The first category includes various supplements (food and non-food substances) and medicines. The second includes vegetable analogs of cannabis (common herbs that can be found in the field or the forest).
Epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG)
This is one of the catechins contained in tea. It activates the same cannabinoid receptor CB1 as cannabis THC, but its bondability to CB1 is more than 10 times that of cannabis marijuana. The substance is dangerous to the liver, so manufacturers have defined the dose of 200-400 mg as the safest one.
Acts as a decomposition inhibitor of endocannabinoids (those that we have in the body originally). That is, this substance makes us feel a little happier and slightly changes the picture of perception of the world without the drug effect.
The first is a cure for Alzheimer’s. Slows down NMDA receptor nerve impulse transmission. Although marijuana acts in the exact opposite way, the combination of the drug with caffeine gives a similar effect to cannabis.
Linoleic acid, omega-3, and omega-6.
These substances are found in vegetable oil, fish oil, and several other useful products. They have a positive effect on the human endocannabinoid system, but the real psychoactive effect is not caused, even if eating fish and drinking sunflower oil.
We will consider the second category in the following article.
