How to use cannabis sugar leaves
Every grower, beginner and experienced, know what are sugar leaves. That there is quite a lot of waste in the form of trims (sugar leaves) after harvesting and manicuring, which you can use. What to do with the residues? You do not get rid of them, right? Let’s hope not. You definitely don’t want to throw it in the trash. Although you can make some fertilizer out of it, there are a couple of potent options.
Actually, you don’t want to smoke trims too, but sugar leaf contains cannabinoids and may be the main ingredient in the cooking of many canna products.
But first of all, it is worth noting that before using sugar leaf weed, it must be decarboxylated, i.e. heated, so the acids contained in them turn into THC and CBD. It is best to do it in a heated oven to 120 degrees Celsius. It is necessary to heat cannabis sugar leaves for about 40-60 minutes.
We suggest several ways to use the remnants of buds and marijuana sugar leaves after harvesting.
Food, Lotions or Ointments
In the Rosin process, THC is not completely extracted from the buds. At the time, there is a decarboxylation occurs, when the active substances are released.
Such residues are perfectly suitable for cooking food or external ointments with cannabis content. Place the buds in a container with coconut oil or olive oil, heat it to 85 degrees Celsius and cook for about an hour. Sugar leaves weed are perfect for cooking food or for external use on the skin.
Many people like not only to smoke cannabis but also to pamper themselves with different canna delicacies: cakes, cookies, sauces, etc. And the main ingredient of these delicacies is usually cannabutter. So if your kitchen periodically produces some muffins, you can safely add some butter with sugar leaves to it.
By the way, you can also use canna milk to make delicious snacks. You will need 100 ml of milk and 100 g of dried and crushed sugar leaves for this. Mix and heat the mixture, keep it on fire for 30 minutes without letting it boil. After strain, cool and store in the fridge. This milk can also be used to make milkshakes, coffee, and different smoothies. And all this with a pleasant shade of cannabis.
Therapy for pets
Hemp, in small amounts, can help an elderly pet. Like us, using THC and CBD, cats and dogs get rid of the painful syndrome, an increased appetite, and sleep better. You can add processed buds to coconut oil, then put the resulting mixture in the food of the animal, but no more than half a teaspoon. It is necessary to take into account the weight of the animal, so do not overdo it. Start with small doses and increase them gradually. Your pet’s appetite will increase, sleep will improve, and joint pains will pass.
Cooking soap from hemp
On the Internet, you can find many ways to make soap. But in the end, the meaning comes down to a few recommendations: you need to dilute the alkalis in water and mix the resulting solution with oil. In our case, oil and cannabinoids will be perfect. Sugar leaf of cannabis contains a huge amount of cannabinoids, so hemp soap makes it possible to use the plant for medicinal purposes.
After wringing the bumps and obtaining a large amount of smoking resin, it is quite possible to give the surplus to those who need it more. We all have acquaintances who lack the means, which are literally on the verge. Most elderly people have a fixed income and are not able to buy weed that can benefit them and become a cure.
Become a philanthropist, make a joint out of sugar leaves and give it away to those who need it. For someone it is garbage, and for another, it is a real salvation. You will receive great satisfaction and a lot of gratitude.
