What Is Endo Weed and Endo System? Interpretation of the Term Endocannabinoids

endo weed

One of the links in the regulation of human eating behavior is the endocannabinoid system, which, like the substances acting on it, is currently being actively studied. It is known that Δ9-THC, which is one of the main cannabinoids found in endo weed inflorescence and leaves, acts on type 1 cannabinoid receptors (CB1 receptors, which leads to a number of effects, such as reducing pain, fear, anxiety, preventing the death of damaged neurons, reduced nausea, and vomiting, and increased appetite (the so-called “hedonic food”) Currently, drugs containing tetrahydrocannabinol are approved for use in several Western countries to relieve symptoms of chemotherapy, treat anorexia, reduce pain in cancer patients, in those in cases where standard therapy does not have an adequate analgesic effect. Medicines are safer than ordinary smoking endo weed.

Cannabinoid Compounds

The following types of cannabinoid compounds are distinguished:

• natural cannabinoids extracted from hemp (Δ9-THC, cannabinol, cannabidiol);

• synthetic cannabinoids;

• cannabinomimetic compounds (aminoalkylindoles, for example WIN-55212-2);

• endogenous cannabinoids, obtained, in particular, by endogenous synthesis in the human body, which are derivatives of arachidonic acid.

What Is Endo Weed or Enocannabioids?

To define endo, you just need to read the interpretation of this term.

Endogenous cannabinoids are derivatives of arachidonic acid, neuroactive signaling lipids that interact with CB1 and CB2 receptors, as well as other receptors, including the GPR119 receptor. Endogenous cannabinoids play a key role in various processes, are responsible for memory, mood, as well as in the body’s metabolism processes: lipolysis, glucose metabolism and energy balance. The development of human addiction is also dependent on endogenous cannabinoids.

There is endo slang, in which it is difficult to immediately understand that we are talking about enocannabioids.

Main Function of Endogenous Cannabinoids

One of the functions of endogenous cannabinoids in the human body is to regulate food intake. This mechanism mainly involves CB1 receptors, which are located in:

• limbic system (hedonistic assessment of food – consumption of tasty food as a source of pleasure);

• hypothalamus (stimulation of appetite in response to short-term fasting);

• gastrointestinal tract (GIT);

• adipose tissue (activation of lipoprotein lipase, intensification of lipogenesis and fat deposition).

Endocannabinoid Receptors

Endocannabinoid Receptors

In the 1980s, US President Ronald Reagan, trying to scientifically substantiate the harmful effects of endo marijuana on the human brain, allocated tens of millions of dollars to researchers. Scientists have not been able to identify any facts confirming the statement of the head of the White House. Then the Reagan administration funded additional research. Ironically, in 1988, they led researchers to the discovery of the first endocannabinoid receptor. In turn, the discovery of endocannabinoid receptors (CB1 and CB2) led to the discovery of metabolic enzymes that interact with these receptors.

Endogenous cannabinoids activate receptors to induce a biological response and then become inactivated through reuptake by carrier proteins in the cell membrane, followed by enzymatic degradation. Endogenous cannabinoids are rapidly degraded by intracellular enzymes: fatty acid amide hydrolase and monoglyceride lipase. Anandamide is hydrolyzed in postsynaptic neurons by fatty acid amide hydrolase, thus stopping its action.

The use of endo kush produces the following physiological effects: euphoria, calmness, analgesia, stimulation of appetite (with hunger, levels of endogenous cannabinoids increase in the limbic system and, to a lesser extent, in the hypothalamus), control of eating behavior, regulation of adipose tissue and insulin signaling, and cellular metabolism in peripheral tissues such as the liver, pancreas.

You’re wondering what is smoking endo? It is no different from ordinary smoking marijuana, or rather, this is it. So don’t think that these are different terms or concepts.

Characteristics of Receptors

CB1 receptors are encoded by the CNR1 gene and are composed of 472 amino acids in the human body.

Full-length CB1 receptors dominate in the brain and skeletal muscle, while CB1Rb receptors (with 33 amino acid deletions at the N-terminus) show higher levels of expression in liver and pancreas cells, where they are involved in metabolic processes. CB1 receptors are the most widely expressed G-protein coupled receptors in the human brain, and they are also widely represented in peripheral organs, namely the enteric nervous system, enteroendocrine cells, immune cells, and enterocytes. They have also been identified in internal neurons, external neurons, and nodal ganglia, vagus efferent nerves, and epithelial cells.
The authors of the blog wanted to give you as much useful information as possible about what does endo stands for. We hope that you have gained useful knowledge, and now you can tell your friends about what endocannabinoids are.
